ChatGPT Pro FAQ

What is the difference between ChatGPT Pro and Plus?

Plus ($20/mo) is the basic plan for everyday chat and light use. Pro $100/mo (Pro 5x) gives about $1,100 of usage per week — roughly 9.1× Plus — for daily work and coding. New Pro $200/mo (Pro 20x) purchases follow the new 10X limits; eligible existing Pro 200 accounts keep 20X until 2026-10-29. It suits full-time coding and heavy Codex use. Your account’s Usage page is the final word.

Should I pick Pro 5x or Pro 20x?

Pro 5x is the best value for daily work, light coding and the occasional long task. Pro 20x is for developers who run Codex all day, launch lots of cloud tasks or use GPT-5.5 Pro heavily. Not sure? Start with Pro 5x for a month and upgrade to Pro 20x if you run out.

How much Codex usage does Pro include?

Measured in a rolling 5-hour window (same as OpenAI): high-reasoning local messages — Pro 5x about 150–750, Pro 20x about 600–3,000; Pro-model local messages — Pro 5x about 100–500, Pro 20x about 400–2,000; Code Reviews — Pro 5x about 100–250, Pro 20x about 400–1,000. The models and limits shown in your account are the final word.

Is it topped up on my own account or a shared one?

On your own ChatGPT account — not a shared one — so the Pro usage is all yours. You never give us your password; while logged in, you just submit your official session info as the page guides you.

How long does the Pro top-up take after payment?

Usually a few minutes. After ordering, submit your session info as guided and Pro is active within about a minute. If OpenAI risk checks or network issues get in the way, our support team will help.

How can I pay?

By Visa, Mastercard and other major cards, processed securely by Stripe. After ordering, just follow the steps on the order page — no need to contact support first.

Can I get an invoice for Pro?

Yes, but you need to choose it at checkout. The checkout has two options, “I need a business invoice” and “I don’t need one”. Choosing an invoice uses the invoiced price (Pro 5x $126.19, Pro 20x $215.27); after payment you fill in your invoice details on the order lookup page. Orders placed without an invoice can’t get one later.

Will OpenAI ban or downgrade my account after the top-up?

Our Pro top-up channel has been tuned over many rounds for stability, and bans are very rare. Within the 30-day warranty, if the top-up itself causes a ban or downgrade, we replace it or refund in full. Keep your order number and contact support.

Do I need to repeat the process to renew Pro?

Pro is a monthly subscription, renewed once a month. To renew, just submit your session info again as guided — it takes about a minute. You can check past orders anytime under “My Orders” at the top of the page.

How much does it cost?

New Pro 200 purchases follow the new 10X limits; eligible existing Pro 200 accounts keep 20X until 2026-10-29. Pro $100/mo (Pro 5x) $118.77, Pro $200/mo (Pro 20x) $204.87, Plus $20/mo $21.97. The amount shown at checkout is final.

What if the top-up fails?

Keep your order details and contact us through the support channel at the bottom of the page. We will check your session status and payment record first, then fix it. If the top-up truly can’t be completed, we refund to your original payment method.
